
Bronwyn Leland Watson
Bronwyn Leland Watson grew up in Washington state, and after receiving her BA from Seattle University in theatre and philosophy she relocated to Los Angeles. This is her second year on Free Verse and she is honored to support a nonprofit so focused on truly empowering artists to emerge and share their stories. Miss Watson has been a teaching and visual artist, choreographer, artistic consultant, song writer, dance partner, and director. She has been making theater for over 20 years, and currently performs with Intrepid Dance Project. Career highlights include directing three plays as part of Susan-Lori Parks' 365 Project and having the playwright attend the staged reading, and she received Best Play Jury Award and Best Director Award in the Hollywood Short & Sweet Festival 2018.
