James Johnson-Brown (he/him/his) is a poet and student at Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles, California, writing on the intersection of faith, sexuality, and body image. Deeply aware of the crossroads of politics and language, his work as a Classic Slam and LA Youth Poet Laureate finalist has closely paralleled the 2020 elections and their far-reaching consequences.
