Nia Lewis

Nia Lewis is currently a freshman at San Francisco State University. She is reserved and shy, but never afraid to speak on topics that bother her. She started the Black Student Union Club at her high school where she advocated for Black and Latino students. One of her poems, “Closed”, is featured in the Huffington Post and her poem, “A Note for Richard, My Mother’s Ex”, will be featured in an upcoming short film. Hobbies include video editing, binge watching Netflix, and acting. She is also featured in the upcoming 2020 feature length film directed by Carlos Lopez Estrada, Summertime.
