For nearly two decades, Get Lit has inspired literacy and creativity in young people through award-winning curricula and programs, with participants going on to become local and national youth poet laureates, U.N. ambassadors, and employees at top entertainment/media organizations and nonprofits.

What is the creative career lab?
The Creative Career Lab is a year-long professional development program for diverse and ambitious young adults in Los Angeles. Thanks to a grant from the CA Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) through the California Community Reinvestment Grants (CalCRG) program, Get Lit is able to put extraordinary young people to work in dream jobs.
The Creative Career Lab is designed to help young adults develop both “soft skills” (communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and professionalism) and “hard skills” (training in digital campaigns, event production, Adobe Creative Suite, and Salesforce).
This program turns dreams into opportunities.
