Alexandria Douglas

Alexandria Douglas is a 19-year-old university student from Trinidad and Tobago. She is a 2021/2022 Get Lit Player and the 2021 Voice of the Sea Award Winner in the Bow Seat Poetry & Spoken Word Senior Category. A 2021 Roots Poetry Slam semifinalist, Alexandria finds writing poetry to be a magnetic way of expressing her opinions and feelings to others. She loves when listeners can connect with some aspect of her poetic words and enjoys incorporating elements of her Trinbagonian culture into her poetry. She is also fond of participating in group sports like football and basketball and being part of a well-functioning team. Alexandria feels great satisfaction when helping others and tries to be a well-rounded, open-minded, and creative individual.
