
Andrea Torres
Andrea Torres is a proud Los Angeles native and first-generation Latina dedicated to creating meaningful, community-centered change through the arts. A San Francisco State University graduate with a degree in Humanities and a minor in Global Peace, Human Rights, and Justice Studies, Andrea brings a strong foundation in equity and social impact to her work.
As Head of Career Development at Get Lit, Andrea leads the Creative Career Lab, an initiative funded by CalCRG that provides mentorship, professional development, and career training to young adults.
With over five years of experience in project management, event production, and nonprofit operations, Andrea has helped produce high-impact programs and fundraising events in support of Get Lit’s mission. Her work is grounded in empathy, storytelling, and the belief that representation matters.
Andrea is bilingual in English and Spanish and passionate about fostering inclusive, collaborative spaces where creativity and community intersect.
