Jordan Ritchie

Jordan Ritchie (she/her) is a Los Angeles-born, but Nor-Cal-raised barista/bookseller who doubles as an aspiring writer and poet! She's a high school graduate taking a break from school to further indulge in her interests and passions, which include language-learning, fangirling, poetry writing and performing, and poetry night hosting at her workplace, A Seat at the Table Books. She was a fan of the Get Lit organization for years before entering and becoming a finalist in the 2021 Why I Rise Competition and participated in the Get Lit Summer Fellowship soon after, which led to her auditioning for and becoming a part of the Get Lit Player team. In her poetry, she explores her Filipino and Black cultures, mental health, and loved ones, but is always looking for multiple muses and new inspiration, so that list is ever growing. She can usually be found hardly ever in public, as she's a self-proclaimed ambivert, but her frequent spot is in between the dots of an ellipses.
