Mila Cuda is a caffeine-sensitive lesbian from Los Angeles with an unmatched enthusiasm for spiders. The former Youth Poet Laureate of the West, Mila has been featured on Button Poetry, Teen Vogue, Rookie, and PBS. Their debut chapbook Dishwater Blonde has sold out of multiple printings, and her poems have received over a billion views online. Mila worked as the lead poetry editor of the feature film Summertime (dir. Carlos Lopez Estrada), which premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. An internationally ranked slam poet, Mila is a two-time winner of The Charlotte Paul Reese '38 Memorial Prize for Creativity in Poetry, awarded by Wellesley College.
