SHAMIKAH CHRISTINA MARTINEZ is a Los Angeles based actor-writer and poet. On screen, she recurred on CBS Superior Donuts and co-starred on the Murphy Brown revival. She has written on television shows for Nickelodeon and Apple+ in addition to developing original pilots for FOX, Paramount+, TruTV, and more. Before working in film & television, Shamikah performed and directed sketch comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and produced some of your favorite music videos for Atlantic Records. She’s currently a Get Lit teaching artist and working on her debut poetry collection.
